RANDLE REVVED UP FOR SEASON OPENER AT SNETTERTON

CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 runner up and Formula Ford champion Thomas Randle is excited to get the season underway at Snetterton next weekend for Round 1 of the 2016 BRDC Formula 4 Championship.

The 19-year-old who now resides in Norfolk, has completed three days at the Snetterton circuit followed by two successful outings at the infamous Spa Francorchamps circuit where finished up seven tenths quicker than anyone, and Tom says he’s itching to get the championship going.

“We’ve shown alot of promise at the three days of testing at Snetterton being second fastest overall and I am very keen to get the season kicked off in five days time," Randle said.

"Next weekend will mark my debut in the championship and my debut of racing single seaters in Europe, so it is an exciting combination to say the least!

"I’ve just come back from two days of testing at Spa Francorchamps which has now topped the list of my all time favourite tracks I’ve ever driven on.

"I ended up fastest overall across the two days setting the quickest ever time for a BRDC F4 car around the circuit, so I think it’s safe to say the first round is going to be a thriller.”

Randle who hails from the Douglas Motorsport team based in Corby will be on track next weekend starting the 25th of Marth with testing on Friday and Saturday and

qualifying and three races across Sunday and Monday.
