Aussie Thomas Randle has left Sebring Raceway victorious after taking out his class in the HSR Classic 12 Hours of Sebring.
After three 30 minute practice sessions on Wednesday around the 6.6km predominately concreted based circuit, Randle got to grips in the Porsche Cayman GT4, posting the fastest time in class.
He went on to qualify on pole in his group, going on to win the qualifying race on Friday.
On Saturday, Randle endured three 45 minute races, with the latter two being held in the night time (this being Thomas' first ever time racing in the night). Randle went on to win all three races on Saturday, following up with another win on Sunday mornings final race.
"I'd firstly like to thank Dave Roberts and Nick Short from CRP Racing for giving me the opportunity to race in the GT4 at Sebring." Randle said.
"The car was quite nice to drive, and I enjoyed trying to drive it on its limit.
I really enjoyed coming out to the United States to race here for the first time, and to get the opportunity to race in the night time was a really cool experience. Hopefully I can do some more racing in the US sometime in the future."
