RANDLE LAUNCHES PROFESSIONAL RACING SIMULATOR BUSINESS

It’s the hottest craze in world motorsport, and now you can try Australia’s number one racing simulator. Introducing Dream Simulation by Thomas Randle.

Formula One, Supercars, IndyCar and NASCAR have led the way with virtual racing – and now this is your chance to jump behind the wheel of one of the country’s leading racing rigs.

Designed by rising Supercars star Thomas Randle, the Dream Simulator is now available to hire in south east Melbourne.

“This has been something my dad and I have been working on for some time, and to see it now ready to roll is such a buzz!” Randle said.

“I’m biased – I think it’s one of the best simulators we have in the country – but when we have people come in and see it and touch it and experience it, it blows their mind!”

Whether you’re a novice racing fan hoping to live a dream, through to a professional looking to fine tune your craft – the Dream Simulator is available to hire for a one hour session through to a full day’s hire.

“We want it to be a driver training centre, we want professionals to want to come and use this before a race weekend…. but we also want race fans who dream of racing to come and try it – this will be as good as any theme park ride they’ve ever been on,” Randle said.

“I’m so excited to have my good friend Lee Holdsworth join me in the business – between the two of us we’ll act as driving coaches to help racers get comfortable and get up to speed and enjoy the experience, including looking at all their live telemetry along with chatting to them after their stints to discuss their data and how they can improve.”

Randle and his father, Dean, have built the simulator at their Dandenong facility over the past three years using state of the art gear sourced worldwide.

“The simulator moves on a CKAS Mechatronics 6DOF motion platform, with a direct-drive steering wheel, and load-cell pedals designed to replicate the feel of a real race car,” Randle explained.

“The simulator chassis is designed by Hybrid Racing Sims along with the steering wheel electronics.”

“It features a Jinx Supercars-style shifters, there’s the anti-roll bar and brake bias adjustors - it’s amazing how close this simulator is to real life racing.”

“Trust me, you will not walk away disappointed with a session on this beast!”

Randle’s relationship with Lee Holdsworth has blossomed since the pair co-drove together in last year’s Pirtek Enduro Cup for Tickford Racing, highlighted by a podium finish at the Sandown 500.

The pair are now joining forces with the exciting new business.

“To have Lee involved is great for us and the simulator – he will help you the way he helped me when we shared the Ford Mustang,” Randle said.

“When you book in you can choose to have Lee or myself as your driving coach – so if you’re a novice hopefully we can work with you to improve your times over the course of your session.”

“Alternatively you have the option to bring in your race engineer and we can help guide them through their data.”

The Dream Simulation is operating in accordance with all COVID-19 precautionary measures in place, and is available now for bookings.
